Welcome to TrueEcho. By downloading, accessing, or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
TrueEcho provides I Ching (易经) interpretations strictly for entertainment and personal reflection purposes only. All readings, analyses, and AI-generated content are not, and must never be construed as, professional medical, financial, psychological, legal, or any other form of expert advice. The developers and operators of TrueEcho expressly disclaim all liability for any decisions, actions, or outcomes arising from reliance on content generated by this application. You assume full responsibility for how you interpret and act upon any reading.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TrueEcho, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) and that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
TrueEcho is a mobile and web application that provides I Ching divination readings and related interpretations powered in part by software and AI services. The service may include free usage, paid entitlements, history features, account management, and optional support or communication features.
3. Accounts and Access
To use all features of TrueEcho, you may be required to sign in or verify an account. Depending on the product flow available at the time, account access may use email/password, email OTP, phone OTP, phone password, Google sign-in, or other supported sign-in methods.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, browser, and account access methods. You may not share access in a way that violates these Terms or enables abuse of paid or protected features.
4. Free Tier and Usage Limits
TrueEcho may offer a limited free tier. Free usage caps, reset windows, bonus credits, and other entitlement rules may vary over time and are controlled by the app's current configuration. The current applicable limits are the ones displayed or enforced in the product at the time of use.
5. Auto-Renewing Subscriptions
In Apple App Store and Google Play versions of TrueEcho, TrueEcho Pro may be offered as an auto-renewing subscription.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID / iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the confirmed purchase price.
- You may manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
- Cancellation of the current active subscription period is not allowed after purchase. You may cancel future renewals at any time.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
For subscriptions purchased through Google Play, renewal and cancellation terms are governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. You may manage your subscription at any time in your Google Play account settings.
6. Refund Policy
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy. If you subscribed through Google Play, refunds are governed by Google's refund policy.

7. Account Deletion and History
TrueEcho currently provides an in-app account deletion entry in Settings. In the current product flow, deleting your account removes your authentication account, clears local session state on your device, and removes core backend account records tied to that account such as cloud reading history, usage state, saved phone-password login profile, and related account-operation profile data.
Some records may still be retained where reasonably necessary, including purchase, billing, anti-fraud, security, audit, support, or legal-compliance records. If you want additional deletion review for remaining support-side or operational records, contact [email protected].
8. Intellectual Property
All content in TrueEcho — including the application design, UI elements, logo, AI-generated interpretations, and underlying algorithms — is owned by or licensed to TrueEcho and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the service
- Circumvent usage limits or access paid features without payment
- Impersonate any person or entity
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
TrueEcho is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrueEcho and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or updated "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of TrueEcho after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
